My first year participating in 36 Days of Type was in 2015, just when I was heavily practicing calligraphy and capturing a lot of the process on video. I decided to switch up the writing tools and styles throughout the project and learned a ton in the process. Check out the 2015 timelapse video.
In 2017, I flipped the script and went large format, full color, traditional chalk on our garage chalk wall. See the 2017 timelapse video here.
In 2019, I reverted back to small format but focused on stippling experimentation. Unfortunately, I didn't film the process but the final compilation image is posted on this page.
